feeling really good in the holidays because I am doing all things with low impulse control, which means I am doing anything when my heart says so. The brother is at home so i get the opportunity to ask my second brother to guide and teach me something so new to me that I so wanna start learning - financial planning.

not that kind of bombastic theories of financial planning. Well I just hope to be exposed and trained to be able to well manage my budget. because you just dont wanna work very hard for little money, clinging to the illusion of job security, looking forwards to a 2 weeks vacation each year, and a skimpy pension after 30 years of work. and because the advice : Go to school, Get good grades, Get a good job is just unappropriate for current bombastic changing world.

and the reading on those materials just make me realized the wrong mindset have been set still in my mind for 21 years !

I get these two books from the brother. Currently quite enjoy reading the first one. because it is more story-based that give you insight instead of projecting all boring dull theory.

I personally like this book particularly and could not help myself but laugh a shaky laugh when I came across how the author of this book list out the relationships between men, women and money.

men invest. women save.
men are socialized to learn about how to invest and make money grows. women are socialized to save money just for in case.
men buy what they need. women buy what they want.
men use money to prepare for future. women use money to create a lifestyle in present.
men spend money on themselves. women spend money on those they care about.
men ask for what they want. women ask for what they think they deserve.
men view money objectively. women view money in relationship.
men learn how to be effective investor. women expect others to know more than them.
men gravitate towards high paying jobs. women gravitate towards helping profession.
men advocate for themselves during trying financial times. women want to be fair when trying financial times.
