outside, the rain came down like water slopped from a bucket
effortlessly, without a conscious command to the muscle around my lips
my answering smile spread across my face
i'd been studying from day to night and night to day
and the drizzling sound of rain stinging on the roof delighted me :)
so half an hour break just to keep my eyes away from the lecture note shall i :)

put on my headset, hit play
and turned up the volume until it hurt my ears
closed my eyes but the light still intruded
the shattering beats made it impossible for me to think
and i listened again and again until i was singing along with all the songs
and i just kept repeating "dance hall drug" and "learning to fall" from BLG the favourite

she wished to send her condolence to a friend
but she found herself holding the handphone moments long
not knowing how to start her words
and she totally dont have the guts to ring the friend up

we used to have a tiny smile playing on edge of lips when we get a tick on the question paper
and feel heavy to do correction when there is a big cross on it
that's all the unclear memory tangling in my mind that i could rmb

waiting the teachers to distribute the exam papers by calling each of us
and i dont like teachers to distribute papers according to marks
you will feel your heart skipped a beat
because there will be someone jotting down the marks for you
you know what i mean :)

every teacher had their own marking style
and sometimes I would get a triple straight lines for my chemistry at the answer sheet i passed up
three straight lines indicated that too much crap you had written:)
mdm tan was a really great teacher who always so enthusiastic on guiding us

lucky to have been what i have been
to study in jshs :)

anyway that's not the point of this post
surprised bubbled up when i got back my homework marked by sensei
because getting a telur means correct

end of delta first sem mid break

i was supposed to take the night flight back to cyberjaya
but things do not iron out as planned
so i decided to come back early this morning

so the holidays came to an abrupt end
how's the holidays ppl?
mine was short and beautiful
and i spent a lot of sanity-saving alone time to do my things

i just hang out once
a very nice movie with a nice friend
hope to see u again :)

and i turned up to a little family gathering
the daddy went outstation for a couple of days
so the mommy took several days off just to keep me accompanied
though i'd convinced mommy that its totally alright for me to be home alone
because i am so used to it:)



time to cut off the holidays mood and here we go the hectic days

the easy-going music and the beautiful lyric
and i came across the mv of an old song "baby love" on hitz.tv
dont you think she is really hawt :)

and i'll still love "happily never after" sang by her than BSB

a beautiful version of piano mixing wise in the song
somehow it kinda overshadows the music
but i love what it is added.

hello people how's the holidays again
i'd just finished reading a book and i cant wait to share with you guys
okay keep it short and sweet
this is it

and the cover of book is actually stated that it is extremely hawt

i was always wondering the power of starbucks
I went for a movie "The Proposal" last 2 days and the first scene where Andrew started his day was actually taken in starbucks as well !
so you could see how starbucks coffee completed a person's morning :)

perhaps for some ppl, the morning was not complete without a visit to the convenience store
where they poured their own black, murky brew into a white foam cup
To kill the taste, they doused the mixture with gobs of powdered cream and sugar
and stirred it with a thin white plastic stick
and they would hand their change to an apathetic cashier who performed the job
just well enough to earn the minimum wage

it was just an unvarying and uninspired customer ritual and transaction :(

so if you wanna know how starbucks actually inspire the coffee drinker
to give up their regular routine while also getting them to pay six or eight times
for rich, exotic coffee blends when "ordinary" was all ppl'd ever known
get this book from the bookstore :)

it was indeed worth for me spending 3 nights to finish up the book
because in contrast to McD, another great American success story
Starbucks was not a franchise business

and this is the one i found in my brother's cupboard
but i dont plan to read it
because i still have to catch up with my lecture notes as well :(

how he let empowerment, entrepreneurship, quality and service define the values of starbucks

feel shy to say that i'd actually not having any starbucks experience
but i was just way too curious about it
and i asked a friend who was a regular starbucks visitor
and the reason to keep him willing to pay more for a latte was
" nobody tells you to leave or gives you a dirty look if you've been there over a half hour
unlike a certain donut haven "

and the brother said
" its a great place to go to talk with that special someone, catch up with an old friend
or escape after a stressful day
becasue you cant go to Disney World everday,unfortunately
so starbucks is my affordable luxury"

so hey ya kia go starbucks :)



so in my opinion after reading this book
i think leadership which focused on creating a culture in which employees can soar
or more precisely letting the employees become part of shareholders
offered a refreshing philosophy
cos you know lar at time many CEO's pocket millions
but leaved their employee's pension funds insolvent

and i came across the fundamental liberties spelled out by federal constitution when i was doing my reading this morning.
the Article10 in the Constitution granted to all citizens
the right to freedom of speech and expression
and the right to assemble peaaceably and without arms.

but
what may be referred to as sensitive issue
can be traced to the Sedition Act 1948

hmm..recently due to the ISA demonstration the sensitive talking was overwelming
and i was actually stunned to see the broadcasting from astro
picturing how the bunch of middle-aged to elderly men proclaiming their affiliations
and the shot of tear gas
oh wow i never thought this gonna happened in malaysia
because the teachers since primary school of mine are coloring my mindset as the united malaysian we are

and even though i am always that fluent in writing out
the imperative steps to be satu-malaysia
because it was the hot topic for essays as well as karangan for the examination topics in primary and secondary sch
i dont have much of friends of the other races
yea dun remind me i know its shameful




love doesn't have to be btw opposite sex
love bounded among the ppl regards races and status
and i dunno why that reminded me of "fly away" sang by nickelback
one of the best

i see outside saturated with cold
white plumes of expelled air rose up from the ppl huddled in coats
hands pushed deep into the pockets
heads down against the wind
that clawed frost across any exposed body part

i feel the warmth of the hot coffee
while i stare at the ice-slimy brick pavement from the glass window

and i see the emerald fields
the green-topped brown trees
the big yellow sun
the white clouds on blue sky
and the red and white swirly sweets for flowers

it was a good picture, a lovely one

and i so wanna be matured
and capable of bringing my family and the loves one
together staying happily in the picture

week8

how's the first sunday back in hometown ppl?
I dont get to watch public enemies and ghost of girlfriend's past
because the friend was busy:)
so i just sneaked into my brother's room
to look for good books.

My brother loves to collect books :)
and he actually brought me back a lot of books everytime he came back to malaysia.
and I found some that interesting
which are totally not related to engineering field nor history
will share with you guys after i finish reading it :)

tml morning I am going for h1n1 vaksin injection at the hosp mom's working
and i am totally feeling uneasy.
you know what when you have both parents working in health sector
they will be just over high cautious.
the first sentence when I back from outside would always be
"go and get your hands washed and shower before entering bedroom huh"

and i swallowed the feeling
doing what I always did
and thought of sth else.
anything but not that thing.
thank you kiwi i m feeling so much okay right now :)

and i gonna utilize the every single day back here
because i not gonna come back during the sem break in october
but of course not solely spending my time having fun in this one week
that's a lot in my mind and I really wish to work it out
so actually I'd already schedule out my holidays
